Today we go back to two meetings every Sunday.

After the service today we will be having a barbeque at Branksome Dene Chine. If you are at the 9am service you can get there early (and help set up!); if you are at the 11 you can get down there after the meeting in time for a burger and a swim!

Sausages & burgers will be provided, but please bring a pudding, cake or fruit.

During the Church BBQ, there will be baptisms in the sea !

September marks the start of our church year - what better way to mark this than to pray?! We will be meeting each evening to pray from 7.30-9.00pm. On the Wednesday we will be joining with the other Newfrontiers churches in Poole, Bournemouth & Christchurch to pray with them.

Today we are starting a new series that will take us through to the end of the year: The Big Story - Exploring the Story of God.

During this series we will be looking at how the Bible tells a big story about God's love for the world and the plan he is working out in his church. It is this story that should shape our lives, and guide us in all our decisions.

Andrew Lawrence, from Citygate Church Bournemouth, will be with us speaking on financial stewardship. 

As well as being an elder at Citygate, Andrew is an astute businessman and will be able to help us with practical advice as to how we can make the most of our money.

Terry Virgo, leader of Newfrontiers and well known Bible teacher, will be with us at both services this morning. A Sunday not to be missed!

Life Groups will start up again in the first week of October. You can sign up for a group on the last two Sundays in September.

An essential get together for those who will be leading this terms Lifegrups. 9-11.30 am.

Vision Sunday is when we review the past 12 months of life at Gateway and set out our plans for the year ahead. Normally we do Vision Sunday on the first Sunday of September, but are moving it to the end of the month this year so we can respond to the way God speaks to us in the prayer meetings, and so that the students will be back in town and back at Gateway.

This is an important day in our calendar - please make sure it is in yours!

Today we want to call the church to a day of prayer and fasting, in order to seek more of God's guidance and blessing on us for the next few months. In the evening we shall be gathering to pray, 7.30-9.00pm at the the church building.

Alpha course starts tonight at 7.00pm.

Explore the meaning of life. Alpha is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed and friendly setting.

Don't be anywhere else this New Years Eve! The fabulous Black Sheep Band are back for a festive barn dance.

Together at Westpoint will be a weekend of worship, teaching, encouragement and vision for mission for all ages.  At least 30 Newfrontiers Churches from the South and South West of England will be together in one event. Visitors are welcome too!
